The next ship in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet will be getting a New York-style kickoff in a christening ceremony featuring the world renowned Rockettes.
Norwegian
and MSG Entertainment have announced that the Rockettes will be serving as godmothers for the 4,000-passenger Norwegian
Cruise Line Breakaway at its release party on May 8, 2013.
At over 144,000 tons, the Norwegian Cruise line's Breakaway will be the largest cruise ship
ever to be based in New York. It will sail to Bermuda and the Bahamas.
