New Disney Ship Disney Dream Boasts Exciting New Features

Disney has just revealed some exciting new features for their newest cruise ship addition, the 128,000 ton Disney Dream. One of the most innovative and alluring features is a 765-foot long water coaster ride that will reportedly be called the AquaDuck. The Dream will also boast "virtual portholes" in the inside cabins which will be fed by video cameras on the outside of the ship.

According to the official Disney Cruise Website

"To step aboard the Disney Dream is to be instantly transported to an age of adventure and wonder, where elegance and sophistication mingle with Disney storytelling and whimsy. Inside is an attention to detail one would only expect from Disney. Lavish decorative murals mingle with sparkling fixtures and furnishings. Original paintings, statues and woodwork envelope Guests in a radiant Art Deco ambiance that is both rich and distinctive."
Here's an amazing video of the planned "Aqua Duck" water coaster from the Disney Imagineers...

Bookings for the Disney Dream open this week with her maiden voyage departing Port Canaveral on January 26, 2011.
